Official opening

01.01.2017: The headquarters of CVT- 'Valorisation Sud' was inaugurated at 4 Place Sadi Carnot in Marseille, with the presence of Mr Louis Gallois, Investments General Commissioner.

Wenesday, April 9, 2014 , the headquarters of CVT- 'Valorisation Sud' was inaugurated at 4 Place Sadi Carnot in Marseille, with the presence of Mr Louis Gallois, Investments General Commissioner.

Before a large and captivated audience, Stephane Raud , Chairman of the Steering Committee of the structure, opened the ceremony , before handing over to Jean Deregnaucourt , Director of Applications Research and Industrial Relations from the Institut Pasteur , Patrick Caron , Chief Operating Officer for research and strategy CIRAD and Michel Laurent , President of IRD. All indicated the importance of the Consortium in the development strategy of their organizations and renewed their strong commitment to this very important project for the future of the technology transfer to the Global South and the French overseas.

Louis Gallois said he was happy for his last trip as Investments General Commissioner, to be alongside the CVT 'Valorisation Sud', an 'atypical and ambitious' structure. He highlighted the main objectives of the CVT and reminded the importance of French overseas regions for the Future Investments Programme. The Commissioner-General expressed his confidence in this new structure and wished it good luck, welcoming the already shown dynamism by the team for recent months.

After cutting the ribbon, Mr Gallois and the key guests, have been headed towards to the office of the organization by Yves Bordet , Director of the CVT, before sharing a conviviality moment of around a cocktail, closing the day.
